What We Do
I have been told that I don’t just think outside of the box;
I am not in the same room with the box.
Sandy
You spoke from experience and applied it to the research, or applied the research to your experience, and that makes it meaningful.
I appreciated the experience behind the training. It is always easier to connect with a subject when their knowledge come from both education and their own experience.
A light bulb went off regarding how I approach different groups when facilitating.
Wonderful! Good combination of PowerPoint, videos, and group activities.

You made a safe space for connections within the group.
Helpful, informative, and it helps me to understand the individual under my care.

Thank you for your vulnerability. You were great to listen to and learn from your ideas.
Enjoyed your workshop and especially your easy going, down to earth approach to teaching the material.
Safe place to learn and share!
The instructor was able to break it down so everyone understood.
It was very easy to understand and had examples of how trauma-informed practice could be done.
Sandy is approachable and I appreciate her willingness to share personal and work-related stories.
The most valuable part was to leave with an understanding of the difference between sympathy and empathy.
I very much enjoyed the workshop -content and the delivery.
Your knowledge of the subjects covered and your life experiences made the workshop more personal and entertaining.
You are an amazing instructor and truly an inspiration. I would like to see the Whyse program grow and I hope I can take future training with you!
I would love a part 2.
