What is the cost of the initial consultation.
Free. Before booking a workshop or contracting for course development, there is an initial 30 minute consultation to determine your needs. There is no charge for the consultation.
What do participants receive as “takeaways”?
Each participant will receive a PDF copy of the presentation, including a list of resources, and a participation certificate.
Do you offer services outside of BC?
Yes. In-person workshops are offered outside of BC, and course development can be done remotely. Contact us for pricing and availability.
Is the Whyse Approach useful for working with adults as well?
Yes. Although it was developed for those who work with youth, an understanding of mental health will be beneficial for relationships with colleagues, as well as clients; especially post-pandemic. The material teaches a deeper understanding of the effects of past trauma and toxic stress for people of any age.
Do the workshops have to be taken through an organization?
No. Starting in the Fall of 2022, we will be offering workshops in the Fraser Valley where people can enroll individually. The cost and other details will be available when the location is announced. Private group bookings can also be arranged with a minimum number of participants.
